About the School

About Us 

The Palmetto City Ballet School is the educational arm of PCB and central destination of dance education for students at all levels of ability and dedication in the greater Charleston area. We provide the highest level of both dance instruction and public performance that are essential to any student’s quality dance experience. We offer a varied class schedule that reflects the national standard for a pre-professional training program as well as a track to accommodate students with a focus on recreation.   

Our training includes technique classes from ballet and pointe to jazz and contemporary to hone all of the skills necessary to become a highly versatile dancer.  With attention to each student’s individual goals the proper blend of disciplined instruction and artistic nurturing is used to ensure correct development and to instill a life-long passion for the arts.
